Operational Excellence by Improved Performance and Retention of Existing Talent

Coaching is all about creating awareness and moving into action in a conscious and intentional way. This one to one service addresses individual needs within a work context and will positively impact employee engagement, retention and bottom line.

As a Corporate Coach, I will engage both client and sponsor to ensure transparency of objectives, measures of success and will agree a three-way support mechanism. As with ICF standards of ethical conduct, strict levels of confidence will be maintained and clear agreements will be made between coach, client and sponsor about how coaching information will be exchanged.

Once engaged, I seek to build authentic relationships with clients, work to cut through the clutter and get to the heart of what really matters and provide structures and tools to enable the change they are seeking.


Coaching Mothers Back to Work

Bridge the Productivity Gap Post-Maternity Leave and Maximise Engagement and Retention

According to a Proctor and Gamble study in 2013, six in ten mothers find readjusting to the workplace challenging, with an average of 3.8 months required to regain confidence and become productive.

Employers may experience low performance and productivity in these initial months as the employee struggles to balance the needs of work colleague and motherhood.

Left unaddressed the organisation risks low engagement, persistent low performance, or often the employee leaving and the organisation incurring replacement recruitment costs.  As the employee exits, out goes valuable experience and knowledge alongside a general disruption to the wider team.

All of the above is based upon the mother returning to work in the first instance. How many mothers faced with this journey, shy away and opt not to return, as the mountain seems insurmountable? What then is the cost to the organisation in terms of the investment made in his or her career to date, only to have to start again with someone new?

As a Mum of two and having done this journey of re-self discovery myself, I am passionate about the value coaching can bring at this pivotal point to benefit both parties immensely.
